Let me take a moment to briefly summarize what you will find in this website.
In 1986, I left my position as Chief Psychologist at Marlborough Hospital to co-found Mental Health Affiliates, a group private practice.
Shortly thereafter, I established COMPASS, an EAP specializing in municipalities and public safety. Combining this and my hospital experience I gained knowledge in the area of critical incident stress and expanded this from public safety to application in the private work setting. This culminated in authoring, Critical Incident Stress and Trauma in the Workplace (1994) and later co-authoring Workplace Hostility: Myth & Reality (1998).
